The Hexafoil window is based on the cloister of the Salisbury Cathedral (c.1280) in Wiltshire, England.
I wanted to pay homage to this beautiful architecture style and also incorporate a symbol that is very common in the Iberian peninsula and widely used in Europe, the Hexafoil.
An ancient protection symbol you can find near staircases, doors and even chimneys, meant to ward off witches and bad luck. The first Hexafoil dates back to the late Bronze Age.
The Hexafoil pendant weights around 5.5 gm and measures 1.2".
Comes with a chain necklace, you can choose the size you want.
Made to order, turnaround from 4 to 8 weeks.
All the sterling silver items I create are tested, hallmarked and certified at the assay offices of Imprensa Nacional da Casa da Moeda
